T-shirt quilts

Three t-shirt memory quilts.  The layout is similar on all 3, but the fabrics and quilting patterns are very different. 

Quilted with "I Love It" pattern, all over hearts.

Baby quilts

I've made a few small quilts lately using fabrics I had on hand mostly.  All 4 of them are about 40"x45". I cut all the binding on the bias, and did rounded corners.  I am really liking this lately for baby quilts, seems like a softer edge than a pointy square corner. 

This one is quilted with the "Autobahn" pattern...  Can you see the block I turned the wrong way?

This next one is quilted with the "Animal Crackers" pattern.

It has a solid blue back, and the quilting pattern shows up well.

This one is mostly flannel, and was quilted with the "Double Bubble" pattern.

His one is quilted with the basic meander pattern.

Quilted with the puzzle pattern.

The next one is quilted with the Criss-cross pattern.... I think it looks like tire tracks. 

Another baby quilt- hearts

A quick baby quilt that I put together recently.  I saw the pieced heart block tutorial on www.cluckclucksew.com, and had to try it out.  The blocks went together quickly, and was fun way to use up some scraps from other projects.

I quilted it with the "I Love It" pattern, so there's even more hearts added there.  Pink fleece for the back of the quilt.

Baby quilt

Showing you a baby quilt that I made recently.  I just started with a rectangle of fabric, and added borders.  The kitty sillouette I found and enlarged to the right size.  The butterflies have embroidered antennas.

Quilted with the Mahogany pattern.  

Midnight Sparkle

Quilted using the Midnight Sparkle pattern.  It looks like swirling snow and snowflakes.

Two new patterns

Driving from the south

Starting this week, the bridge 1/2 mile south of our house on Kingbird Avenue is being worked on, so the road is closed there.  If you are coming here from Newkirk, then you will need to take a 3 mile detour around the section on gravel.  To avoid that, you'll need to go to highway 18 and come 3 miles south on Kingbird to get to our house.

Custom-made t-shirt quilt

A custom-made t-shirt quilt.... there were over 50 quilt emblems, so I had to get creative to fit them all in.  I ended up making a graph paper diagram, using a 2-inch grid, and laid it all out before starting to make sure they would all fit in the 88x90 size. 

It was quilted with the Square Spiral pattern, and has gray plush Minky on the back. 

Bamboo pattern

Had a quilt come in that worked perfectly with the "Bamboo" pattern...

House quilt

A few of these house quilts have come my way to be quilted, this was one finished using the Baptist Fans pattern.

Patriotic colors lap quilt

A quilt made by me, just getting around to quilting and binding it.  It has off-white Minky backing, and was quilted with a meander pattern.
