This "Starburst" quilt was done hand-guided doing an echoed paisley pattern. My hand-guided quilting is usually more dense than the computerized quilting. It was just what the customer requested- it's very similar to how the pattern quilt was done. Here's a link to the pattern if you'd like to make one too:

Freehand quilt
This quilt called for some free-hand "wind" quilting.... It's a small wall quilt. The background was a almost solid black- kind of hard to photograph. The pictures look lighter than the actual black fabric was.
I even happened to have some black Quilter's Dream Midnight Poly batting on hand- it was perfect for this quilt with black fabrics on top & bottom.
